(1) The Chief Information Commissioner and the Information Commissioner shall receive an amount equal to one month's salary for festivals celebrated according to their religion, culture and tradition every year as festival expenses.
(2) The amount as per sub-rule (1) may be paid by the Chief Information Commissioner and the Information Commissioner once in a financial year on the occasion of major festivals celebrated according to their religion, culture and tradition.
